Rebekah graduated from Wichita State University and received her Master of Arts in Communication. Sciences and Disorders. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Kansas and is in her Clinical Fellowship Year. Rebekah has received a Bachelor of Science and maintains a Kansas license in Elementary Education and has previous experience teaching in the local public schools.
Rebekah has experience working with children ranging from early childhood to adolescence, focusing on areas including phonology and articulation, language disorders, and fluency. She emphasizes using an evidence-based approach in her session and encourages strong collaboration between clinician and caregiver to help her clients reach their fullest potential! Rebekah is currently providing services at our East Office location.
Brooke received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kansas State University. She is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Kansas. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Brooke is passionate about creating an evidence-based, collaborative, and positive therapy experience for each client and family. She is a strong advocate for early intervention! In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, diving into true crime, and cheering on the KSU Wildcats! Brooke is currently providing services at the Speech Swallowing Voice Center’s east location.
Alisha is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Kansas. She attended Wichita State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Alisha has experience working with a variety of needs including pediatric feeding disorder, dysphagia, speech sound disorders, and language disorders. She also has experience in the evaluation and implementation of high-tech speech-generating devices. Alisha’s primary focus is pediatric feeding and swallowing. She has completed extensive continuing education in the area of pediatric feeding and swallowing including the SOS Approach to Feeding and SOFFI. Alisha is currently providing services at our east office.
Dani is a certified Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Kansas. She received her Bachelors Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wichita State. She returned to Wichita State to receive her Masters of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She previously worked in the school system where she worked with students of all ages with various needs, including expressive and receptive language, phonology and articulation, fluency, and complex communicators. Dani enjoys working with the pediatric population and has experience working with students with literacy-based needs, including dyslexia and writing difficulties. Additionally, she received her training in the SOS Approach to Feeding which works with children with food aversions.
She values working with parents as a team to help her patients reach their goals and strives to be current with techniques and strategies to best serve her clients. Dani is currently providing services at our east location.
Michael Hogwood is a practicing medically trained and experienced speech-language pathologist who works primarily at the Speech, Swallowing, and Voice Center in east Wichita. Additional medical experience includes working at Wesley Medical Center in acute care and outpatient (both full time and current as PRN) and a neurogenic rehabilitation facility in NYC (2014-1016).
Michael is a FEES and McNeil Dysphagia Treatment certified therapist and combines the later with neuromuscular electrical stimulation (Guardian protocol) to rehabilitate various disorders of swallowing. Michael also has extensive experience working with adult populations suffering from a variety of disorders impacting memory/attention/cognition from stroke and TBI, dysarthria, stuttering, facial/oral motor weakness, aphasia, and voice disorders.
Michael is a FEES, manual therapy, and McNeil Dysphagia Treatment certified therapist and combines the later with neuromuscular electrical stimulation (Guardian protocol) to rehabilitate various disorders of swallowing. Michael has completed training for the to be called a Certified Brain Injury Specialist by the Brain Injury Association of America who also has extensive experience working with adult populations suffering from a variety of disorders impacting memory/attention/cognition from stroke and TBI, dysarthria, stuttering, facial/oral motor weakness, aphasia, and voice disorders including but not limited to vocal cord dysfunction with adolescent athletes and school-aged children and adolescents with concussions (sports and other injury) both as a part of the interdisciplinary team at the Wesley Medical Center concussion clinic with Dr. Kimberly Molik and in treatment at his private office.
Lori is the office manager at our east location. She has been with us since April 2021. She enjoys getting to know the patients especially the littles.
